What are you gonna do for thebabygirl?

Not sure yet. When she gets older there is an idea of building her a playhouse type bunkbed, complete with front door and windows. But that isn't for a long time. For now, I have Elf-boy's babybed, some of his old baby toys, and clothing. Still have the carseats. I have a dresser that was my grandfather's that will be in the baby's room. Been sorting out what is okay for a girl and what is going in a garage sale. I really like the muted sage green for painting the walls, but then I think that kiddos need bright colors. can't make up my mind. Not used to girl stuff yet. This is going to be FUN :) My mother is already hitting the stores. She *has* promised me that she won't buy ruffled-lace panties for the baby (but I don't believe her).

Lace ruffles? Those'll get all greasy when we're in the garage rebuilding engines!

My girls were over-run with grandmothers buying 'em lacy stuff. They were always in lace and ruffles. Jill still likes stuff like that. Myranda wasn't much into it though. She's like me... comfy shirts and jeans are good!
