The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Glad you were able to fix it...wish I coulda seen it. ;-)It was pretty freaky to see. LOL... but I was just introducing these students to this new software! This thing worked fine on that computer till last night when I was going through my class demo for today. It started with a little problem last night but then *rapidly* deteriorated this morning. Now that it's all done I'm laughing.
I gotta get a new video card still.... just pulled one out of another computer for now. LOL What a zoo!

No dear.... *waiting* again. :-)
Know what you mean about the trees. I loved my trees and orchard at the old place. Got trees here but too but no fruit trees. :-(

I normally drink mine plain black. I'm having it with a cocoa mix poured in today. Sounds good to me!
There's a coffee machine in the other building...does mochas and such. But I've only got fifteen minutes to go now...I THINK I can handle it. ;-)
Music night tonight! And my house is a wreck! Arghhhh!

hey there...you don't need to go that long between meals!

I didn't do it on purpose! Last night I thought the flickering screen was only some setting I had wrong in the new program. I went all through the textbook to make sure I had everything right. Reworked the lesson plan for today and all that. I was just busy working - after work.
You know I never eat breakfast --- and I thought I'd get off for lunch before NOW!

I have lunches all made here for the week. I didn't take one to school today because I thought I'd get home right after class. Had I known I was gonna be stuck I'd have taken lunch..... however.... today I still wouldn't have had time. There's crackers in my desk.... but ... by the time I had time to get 'em - I could come home. I ask ya, crackers or drive home for beef fajitas? :-)

My 1 hour glucose test was negative, yay!
After mashing it and poking and proding, Elf-boy's doctor told us he wanted the cyst thing surgically removed. He recommended a pediatric surgeon for us to see. The appt with the specialist is next Tuesday at 2.
I am truly glad I took Elf-boy out of school today. There is no way we would have made it to his appt on time otherwise. My doc was 15 minutes late getting the orange coctail to me, then after waiting the prescribed hour, was almost 15 minutes late pricking my finger. That put us at 10:15, just for my appt. Then we went downstairs to get a quick snack (mmm, goldfish crackers and 7-up!). Back up the stairs, and down the hall to his appt, and with 5 minutes to spare, we made it. As for eating, by the time we got to McDonald's for playgroup, it was 12:30. Both of us were starving by that point. Good thing playgroup was at a McD's!

To: PurpleQ
Yes'm... that's what I thought to. I had 'em. And some pie. And I'm full now! :-)
Trouble is, I could take a nap real easy after losing lots of sleep trying to figure out the software problem last night. And I gotta go back to work in an hour.

Keep me posted on that as well...remind me next Tuesday and I'll pray for the little gomper. Bet several Hole Dwellers would stand with me.
Oh, the orange cocktail. Everyone said it would be sickening sweet...I loved it. LOL

I'm having a frozen "Jacks" pepperoni pizza with anchovies! The librarian at church that I work with on Wednesday evenings gave the anchovies to me! Said her daughter got them as a gag gift! I was thrilled!
