Hmmm. That young man sounds VEY interesting! It is hoped you'll get to meet him sometime. Maybe HIS siblings will go home and tell them about YOU!

They didn't end up spending much time with me, but we'll see. So far I don't have any bright ideas on rigging up a meeting, but maybe something will happen. We'll see...

Thanks for the endorsement, Penny! ;-) I'm just hoping I can stick with it...it's going to be awhile before I can run outside (if I ever do...no paths, and running in the road is kinda scary!) and the treadmill is awfully boring.

On the other hand, I really want to do this, so I've got that going for me. And tunes! Keeping music blasting seems to help!

I know I've recommended this group to you before, but I bet you'd really enjoy these guys:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000000E85/qid=1077457209/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/102-2015762-5896132?v=glance&s=music

Finding their CDs can be difficult, though. I had that CD and lost it when I moved from my apartment. I've torn everything apart trying to find it - it was my favorite! *snif* I really need to track down another copy someday.

Ah, good.

I'm going to take my sister back to school, so I won't be back until after 3 or so. See everyone then!

I'm still putting together my outfit. Mass isn't until eleven, though.

Dad is having over a bunch of people this afternoon. It's going to be highly crowded. I have a feeling I may be asking to use the snowshoes again, if only to get out for awhile.

Should be fun, too, though.

> Assuming that's Mrs. Kerry-Heinz in the photo on the left, she looks more like she's flinching, rather than enjoying the kiss.

She sure does! And if you go over to that thread, there's another photo where she's recoiling from him like that as well. Maybe it's his ketchup-breath? :)

It made me think of Albore, too :)

I went to my church's Saturday service this weekend. Would be in bed now if I could fall back asleep--the fire alarm battery shorted out at about 3:30 am and woke everyone up. I think I fell back asleep around 5. Yawn!

the quote:

I'm thinking that's too unclean to use in a tagline.

That's about the time I finally hit the sack this morning. Folks left the party about midnight, and we wanted to pray and read with Joseph, so I just let the plates and utensils soak for a while. I came back downstairs about 1am to load the dishwasher. I just started washing pots, pans and serving dishes, and finally gave up the ghost about 3:30. At least I wasn't greeted with dirty dishes when I finally rolled out about 15 minutes ago! I'm drinking some coffee and trying to pry these eyelids open!

So you must feel like me this morning--LOL! So how was your party otherwise? BTW, I may be asleep again by the time you reply, so if I'm slow in responding you know why, LOL!

I'm very fortunate, I only had to deal with running in the rain and we have fairly good sidewalks and parks with good paths to run on. If I'd had to do the treadmill thing, I daresay I might not have been able to keep up with it. Now, I don't run anymore because I've been riding my bike all year instead. But it's nice to know I could pick it back up again with just a few weeks of getting back into it.

Good tunes are the way to go to keep your interest up!

Yikes! The dogs would be a bit of a challenge, but it's good that you have lots of places to run. It makes all the difference if you can run outside, I think. I used to run through all the different neighborhoods in my part of town, and I'd especially look for the areas with the big fancy houses to make it fun and interesting.

Maybe you could get one of those sound devices for controlling pets that would scare off any dogs that look dangerous. I'm thinking of trying to find something like that for when I'm riding my bike out in the country.
