I'm all for stayin' and campin' too! With this guy subbing for me I will have at least a week available... so I could still come early. Actually, with the Monday/Wednesday work schedule it will be open to fly on Thursday and be there one day earlier anyway.

Then, I could take Ken up on his offer of subbing and have both Monday and Wednesday off the next week. That way I'd have all the way till the next Sunday before I *had* to fly home.

However, if you did actually decide to choose the 3rd as the date.... ummm... I have the 5th off for Independance Day. And my 2 days off subbing could be taken that Wednesday and the next Monday so I wouldn't have to come home till Tuesday over a week after your wedding.

Besides Courtney, I have my friend in Bellingham to visit and my ex-sister-in-law and mother-in-law over in Sunnyside both want me to come spend a couple of days. The sister-in-law is the mom of the young man I've added to the Hobbit Hole support in Afghanistan and she is also the ONLY person who has ever convinced me to participate in karoake. Ummm... pretty sure she'll try to pull that one on me again! LOL They are wanting to have a family get-together if I'm able to make it over there. I still get along famously with Jill's dad and his wife so reunioning with them is fun. But, with as many days off as I have getting over there for at least one day will not be a problem I think.

We'd love to come up to Ft. Worth for a day to moot, if we can afford it (budget is real tight this month). What days are you looking at?

Well, we were kinda going to run this by PE and msdrby and see. We were talkin' about the 27th.... but that was just kind of throwing something out there.

Does the paper give the brand and model#? If so, do a Google search on it. Some are good, some stink, and you could read reviews on it!

I've got July 1st thru the 8th slated for vacation. You tell me when to be there and I'll be there! :-)

Can we tell spooooooky stories in the witch's circle? *wicked grin*

We have to watch a scary movie first though, just to have everyone already jumpy.

I saw Jeepers Creepers 2 last night. I love horror films....they're funnier than most "comedies" just cuz they are so cheesy!

It didn't list the model, but from the price I'd say it's a manual. I did a Google search during lunch and pretty much everyone said to avoid manual treadmills as it's too hard to keep them going fast, especially if you want to run rather than just walk.

Back to the drawing board, I guess! I'm thinking if I keep an eye out, maybe by spring some of the folks who got them around New Year's will be getting rid of 'em. ;-)

Is there a log of where the knives have gone? - If not names, division/unit/location?

There are names and APOs. Many have been sent to stateside addresses before the guy left. So some of the unit identification is lacking. The most accurate classifications would be "APO/stateside/HHD/veteran". I've been sending along the names with valid overseas APOs to WN for adding to the care package list.

Don't worry, once it passes eastward in a day or two, things should cool down nicely again.

Oh yeah, Sam, that's VEY encouraging!

BTW, tell Jeanne thanks anyway, but I think we've found the light bulbs for our microscope! I ordered two from Bulbworks in NJ today. They should be here before the weekend, and we'll try em out!

Only trouble is...we ain't got a pot.

Poor Rosie, up there without a pot to sip in...

Hullo all. I am here again...finally. The IT guy just finished "upgrading" my system so I could access that #@$@3$%&%^@#$ database. Took him from 1:30 Friday until about 20 minutes ago (okay, he did go home for the weekend, but was back afore 9 this a.m.)

...still cain't access the database...but I ain't tellin' 'em that fer a while.

What's even more amazing is that God gives parents the ability to actually be happy to look at the poop that finally goes in the potty...

So true!!

I even invented a song for it and sang it every time Becky successfully went potty!

She still sings it to this day (4 years after potty training).

I plan on using it for Alyson's training, which will hopefully begin within the next month or so.

You have to watch the really stupid ones like Freddy vs Jason in order to enjoy the comedy aspect of horror films.

I know what you mean though, Becky is terrified of any scary movie - even the REALLY stupid ones.

I meant to type "Corin's sandals floating in the pool", but forgot to add it to the list before I hit post!

So many memories and so many more to come!

I miss Entmoot!!!
