The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Had not heard about that6, they dont tell us anything, unless it happens on our route. That is part of the reason we asked for news and such from home.

Good to here that. I was glad to hear your message about the RPG's. That JP8 is much better than the JP4 I dealt with.

So many DVD's, so little time. Having all of them would be cool. I especially enjoy the older shows with Trapper John and Henry Blake.

Quiet here this morning. Not much going on here today. While things are quiet, I'd like to ask you a question. Could you guys use some binoculars? If so, I'll send a bunch of compact cheapie $10 red chinese ones, as soon as I can snag some. They were a big hit in Afghanistan, where distances tend to be long.
I come from a background of six years in the National Guard, where you didn't get nuttin', but they didn't hassle you if you bought it for yourself. I came up with a long list of stuff I wanted for my comfort/sanity and paid for it out of my own pocket.
In the RA, you could probably get your own Apache gunship before they'd give you binoculars. So if you want some, tell me how many. I'll go shopping Tuesday.
