The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Hi Alkhin!

I'm working hard on getting Matthew done with 4th grade and trying to keep life in order while hubby is doing school!

Good to see you! I'm reading 40 Days of Purpose...that's all I have time for! :-(

Only 80mph, yeesh, from all the WX service reports in the last 5 minutes, you'd think the world was ending.

I am watchign the map on weatherchannel.com . The line is almost vertical from WF all the way south. Looks like it is headed our way, but is just now passing through where mom's land is outside of Stephenville.

Skywarn is a National Weather Service program for storm spotting. Many ham radio folks in this area, including the weather service guys, participate. Wneighbor and I both do this. It's a way to help the community, and supplement the weather service with eyes in the field.
