I guess they've been cultivating a male archetype since they got their first Ken doll, and if they can't make a man match the model their lives will be simply ruined.

Maybe that's what's different. I never had barbie and ken. I had barbie and guns.

Not only did I have Barbie and Ken, I had Midge, Skipper, the dreamhouse.....the whole nine!

I grew up rural Ohio in the 50s and 60s, in a family where women were respected and protected.

I guess that's why reality eventually hit me in the face, so to speak.

Well, I had two barbies, but prefered to play with cars, guns, and sports.

Maybe it made me the wife that I am today!
