Hey, I just sympathized based on my own experience. I didn't degrade anyone. I've been through enough crap at the hands of women I trusted (because of their motivations) that I'm not going to sit here and defend myself for the beatings I've taken for misjudging motives of the women I've dated. I've had their shoes wiped on me already, you can clean yours elsewhere, thank you. I'm not hostile toward women; but, I've had enough abuse for a while and am being far more cautious about who I involve myself with. I'm also far less trusting of my own judgement so they have to fully pass muster before friends and family or they're gone.

In most cases, by and large, FReeper women are quality MARRIED women! The stable, confident, attractive, attentive and loving American women are usually gone quickly. What's left are generally the ones with major issues, psychoses, checkered pasts or a lot of "baggage" (emotionally or physically). Sure, there are exceptions to the rule and I certainly feel for widows and such that are suddenly thrust back into the market through no fault of their own. But, again speaking in generalities, my experience is that the typical single woman in my age group (35-45) is more hassle than she's worth. I'd say that takes many many women on this board out of the group you hope feels insulted.

But seriously, we were discussing not the average FReeper woman, but the average woman out there on the street. VERY different animals. . .

I live in the DC region, and I used the GOP birth control method: once women knew I was Republican, I couldn't get a date, much less anything more. I had one woman break it off with me with the excuse "But I had no idea you were such a REPUBLICAN". . .heck, half the personals in "Washingtonian" read "No Republicans".
