I'm gloating. And gloating at Al-Queties Couric's self-combustion this morning.
The nickname Al-Quetie Couric should be credited to Laz on FR.

As in all sports, a coach will protest a call at the plate, or a charging foul or a catch out-of-bounds. Not to necessarily protest THAT certain call but, to put the referee's/umpires/officials on notice to mind themselves next time a call is made. That's a big part of the game.
Democrats are masters at this and this is their 'protest' they are playing now.....and did with the 'Mission Accomplished' uproar and not to 'gloat' next time.
Well...it's next time now, baby! ... and that card doesn't work on this conservative.
This was a huge Bush victory for the safe harbor of all Americans and gloating I will go..........

The capture of Saddam Hussein
The dramatic news of Saddam Hussein's capture provides a faint glimmer of hope that peace and security may someday be possible in a country that has seen little of either.
After decades of oppression, war, and deprivation, the long-suffering people of Iraq will finally see their brutal dictator brought to justice. For their sake, and for the sake of American servicepeople in Iraq, we hope that Saddam's capture will hasten the end of hostilities in that country. While the chance of a democratic government in Iraq still seems remote, perhaps this news will help make it possible.
We opposed the invasion of Iraq, which did nothing to improve the security of the American people, and caused incalculable damage to our reputation abroad. The capture of Saddam does not make an unwise war wise, it does not make an illegal war legal, and it does not make an utter failure of American foreign policy into a success.
The current Administration has botched nearly everything it's touched these last three years. Saddam's capture provides them with a fresh opportunity to get our foreign policy back on track. Let's hope they don't botch this too.
The Administrators of DU"
