After seeing ROTK, I feel so sad for Faramir.

Surely a shame that his father was such a rat.

His father wasn't so much of a rat in the book. He STILL preferred Boromir to Faramir (duh!), but was more the ruin of a great man, driven to madness and despair. He still wasn't exactly a loveable guy, but he made more sense.

And Faramir in the book.... *swoon*

If you haven't read it, you gotta. Can't remember if you had or not.
