I'm glad that is over and done with, you telling your dad.

I didn't know if Steve was really series. I mean, we'd been together 4 years! When he asked me, there was no dilly-dallying around with it. I made him ask my dad! Like the next day. I figured if he had the gumption to ask my dad, he meant it.

I was secretly a bit surprised that he actually asked him!

Six months later, we were married. No fiddle-fartin' around with that either...goodness, we knew each other well enough! LOL

Looking back, I wished we'd just got the family together one weekend and got hitched. Had a big blow-out later.

But the gift part was really nice!

I'm already planning to have a small wedding. Just family and a few dozen close personal (Hobbit) friends.

The store had the ice cream I really like! Moose Tracks, tastes like the real stuff with only a few carbs. And I've been good today so I can have quite a bit now!

The first time Dennis asked me I didn't think he was series! Turned out he was.... but, I didn't think he was. But, it was 4 years after that when we really got married. In that time I think he asked me at least 3 other times..... and I asked him once too! LOL

Shoulda just believed him the first time!
