Actually, you know, GigaDittos has a good point; finding an actual media company to work with that budget is most likely going to be impossible.

Soooo... either resign yourself to failure, or look for some other options. Such as: are there any students with animation and/or video experience (camera work, photography, etc.) who would be willing to work on this for the experience, or for extra credit? That would be one way of limiting the cost and staying under budget...

Interestingly I just got my hands tied on having students work on official college work this month. In the past we had allowed students to gain classroom credit by producing the drawings necesary for the welding, machining, HVAC, electronics, computer maintenance and aviation maintenance classes. As of my arrival back at campus this week that is no longer allowed.

And I wholeheartedly agree! I can't imagine a local firm doing anything close to what they're asking for such a pittance!

I've got an outline of what's needed. I'm waiting for an email from the associate dean on 3 companies she wants me to approach about this and then I will contact them with the full written proposal of what the deans want. This is all gonna be kept in writing! The old fashioned way - on PAPER!!! I ain't *really* blonde you now!
