Interestingly I just got my hands tied on having students work on official college work this month. In the past we had allowed students to gain classroom credit by producing the drawings necesary for the welding, machining, HVAC, electronics, computer maintenance and aviation maintenance classes. As of my arrival back at campus this week that is no longer allowed.

And I wholeheartedly agree! I can't imagine a local firm doing anything close to what they're asking for such a pittance!

I've got an outline of what's needed. I'm waiting for an email from the associate dean on 3 companies she wants me to approach about this and then I will contact them with the full written proposal of what the deans want. This is all gonna be kept in writing! The old fashioned way - on PAPER!!! I ain't *really* blonde you now!

Don't just get it on paper, flood them with paperwork. Recap key points from earlier memos, and solicit their input. Maybe they'll figure out that you're developing documentation that a lawyer would just LOVE to have when he takes your case. With a big enough settlement, you could retire to whereever you want to live, and lead a life of leisure, freeping all day.
