D, er Tom, has wanted to learn japanese since he was a little 3rd grader. Always been fascinated with the culture. His little girlfriend speaks it.

Now, Japanese culture has some really neat bits and some really sick bits. I like to sort of take what's good. That's the American way.

Plus it almost seems the "in" thing among geeks these days is to speak a little Japanese.
