The problem is finding a week when I can borrow someone else's car to get around in.

Sorry, I read above that you hadn't gotten her insurance info. Check with your policy to see if you have a rental car provision. Then have your company check with hers. They should have to pay to provide you a car while yours is being repaired.

They do have a rental car provision but we're not sure yet that I'm allowed to drive the car! I'm still on Dad's policy (to have my own would be about half as much as my car payment, and they're willing) and as I'm not 25, I might not get to drive the rental... in which case I could be driving my mother's Beetle around for a week. Good thing I can drive a stick now.

Don't suppose Dad'll let me borrow his car...
