If it's reallly bad, I'd say catch a ride with Dad, if you HAVE to go. But on total ice, there's nothing you can do to completely control the car - except maybe studded tires. It's not worth a day's pay to go out in that.

Though it IS a drag not getting paid for sick time and all that.

I can't get a ride with Dad, he goes to a different client site on Mondays... I should be able to make it to the office, though, that's three miles away.
