When we bought the air rifle, I called the town police dept. to see if there were any restrictions on shooting it. He just said "use common sense"! Yeah, we can do that! We set up a target in the back yard; it's over 200 feet past the target before the property line of the house in back of us, so there's not a problem about hitting someone else. We've been tempted to shoot at some of the annoyingly LOUD crows! Gateway, the cat, has sorely tried our patience, too, but we've restrained ourselves and kept to tin cans and wine bottles!
