(lol...sorry I did not respond sooner...I had to run some errands and get a haircut.)
But...WOW! What an event! And, I complete understand what you're saying about the nurse...that must have been awful!
Unfortunately, my stories for my twice broken arm aren't as eventful.
Age 5) Tripped over a garden hose.
Age 10) Brother pushed me off the porch.

I never had my arm broken, dislocated twice or three times at the elbow, never broken.
My feet have been fractured, but not outright broken. That was from bootcamp, and the steel toed boondockers that you have to wear about four pairs of socks to get em to really fit. In my case, I was wearing all the socks prescribed, but we were in Chicago in -60 degree snow and ice, marching double time. Stress fractures...
By the time all was said and done, boot camp was overwith, and my feet were swollen, black and blue, and so tender that I couldn't get even one pair of socks on, much less shoes. At that point, though it was too late. The doc said either live with it, healed incorrectly, and have swollen feet forever, or get both feet rebroken to fix it. I opted to live with it. BTW, it changed my shoe size too, odd that.
