Oh, I caught part of that once and never thought anything other than "ew" and "Oh good, at least everyone else is safe from those two".
TNG had a really lousy pilot episode, but after season two it improves considerably.

Ooh...I saw that.
It was a shame, though. I LIKED Odo, before they started the campaign to explore his feeeeelings.
