Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I like steak lightly browned on the outside, barely warm inside. It satisfies a primeval urge....

Medium rare, cooked in butter, lightly salted..
*drools*
Yes, it does satisfy some primitive urge.
Knda like when eating shrimp, and you just suck the little monster out of it's shell.
Makes you want to sit there and go, "Heeeh.." and growl..

Heard of a really odd hiking trail called, supposedly, The Stairmatser to Heaven.
It's supposed to be really steep and have switchbacks galore on it up the side of a mountain.
I have no idea if it really exists.
And I haven't met anyone who could verify it either.

There is an online program called Book Adventure that is much like Accelerated Reader and Book It. I used it last year and it was a big motivator for the kids. The thing is, I am not sure it goes if it higher than 8th grade reading level.

Don't forget to make shorts out of those old jeans, unless you want to buy some in Florida. They are sold year-round here.

ROTFL, he Gollum-boy is requesting to go to the store so we can buy some cookies. I explained to him that we have cookies already. He reasoned with me that he doesn't want Lembas cookies, he wants cookies with sprinkles. He actually said, "We want cookies with sprinkles, Precious."

I NEED HELP I NEED HELP!!!My computer completely crashed. Just won't start at all. It acts like it's booting up, I get the blue windows xp logo and then a black screen that says my computer didn't shut down properly and gives me options of starting up in three different safe modes or in the mode I was last using or start windows normally. If I select any of them it acts like it's starting up but then takes me back to the same black screen.
Joshua was playing a JumpStart program, and it just crashed during his playing...he didn't touch anything but the mouse. I was offline at the time.
I am currently online on the imac, so if you want to call me, tell me and I'll get offline.

Already done! I also went to the bank today, mailed the last of my grad school apps, and bought a book for the plane last night.
I hafta locate a blank-book, though, for my Entmoot diary. When I went to Hawaii I filled a book, about forty pages worth, with my journal of the trip.

One peak not name in the pic is Lizard Head. At many angles, it looks like a giant lizard.
