The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Catching up. Like Suzi.

It helps to have some theatrical experience. You gotta be absolutely series.

I had Myranda convinced for a whole lot of years - till she was about 9 or 10 that mercurichrome (sp?) which my grandparents always called "monkey blood" was *really* the blood of monkeys. And it had healing properties so that's why we used it. She believed this until she argued in front of the whole class with her 5th grade teacher who finally convinced her otherwise.

And until she was 8 and got set straight by her evil sister and cousin I had her convinced that if she cut her hair it would hurt and bleed just like cutting your finger. You notice she had very long hair!

The peppers are best when 'eaten' or 'pickled' fresh.

Or dried and crumbled between your fingers in whatever you happen to be cooking! Like spaghetti sauce or red beans! MMMmmm

Hey Alkhin. I haven't found any of those up here in this part of Texas. And I forgot to pick the dry ones for seed from my aunt's flower bed over Christmas.

When Aunt Cheryl moved from Laredo to Valley Mills she just threw some dried tepins in the flower bed and some grew. Just on top of the soil and let 'em go.

Yes, please!

I wish I had some just to eat! Bet they'd taste great, pickled in vinegar and on a fresh egg or two!

No matter. We're pretty much the authority on "priority mail." We can get it home for ya.

Oh oh. Prayers for ya Corin. Nana's in the house can truly be trying. I still remember. No explanation for some stuff they do. Hope you told her to be QUIETER!

If you can get her to use it, try a pair of FRS radios. Instead of yelling, she just has to press the button and talk. And the person on the other end doesn't have to yell back, or run. If she gets a quick response, she might be less likely to yell.

Just a thought. You could give the other unit to whoever has Nana-watch. But it might cut down yelling, and running around.
