Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Good for you.

Awwww phooey. I think that is overly dramatic of your daughter! There are lies, and there are good ~lies~.

Good for you. I never got into the Easter Bunny lie.
To: Corin Stormhands
I imagine I can find a way to incorporate it into the celebration!

See, I think I might have felt the same way. Parents aren't supposed to lie to their kids. It probably depends on the kid...

It was a picture of GW showing off his trophy. A dead 6 point sadamm.

I never put much emphasis on it either. I didn't think.
"See, we're under such tight security that even Santa has to have clearance to fly over."
But i did do little things like that.

LOL I know! I'm so ashamed.

I think this year, I'm getting my air rifle out to take care of the Easter and all the other bunnies in the yard.
Anybody have a Rabbit Stew recipe?
To: My back yard; 2Jedismom
Bah phooey! It's just an easter bunny! It's not a lie! - it is a cute little story kids can take part in.... It's the fun.
I want my Mommy.

My wife has an Easter Egg hunt "game" where you put certain scripture verses in plastic eggs. You number the eggs and when they're all found, open them up in order. It tells the Easter story.
Remind me after Entmoot and I'll send it to you.

Yeah, she has always been very level-headed, and then she has her moods. Series moods.
To: Corin Stormhands
I don't care! I still laughed anyway!

Anybody have a Rabbit Stew recipe? As a matter of fact...
lol
The old-time Hobbit Hole Dwellers will recall the time that Steve and I bought two "conies" live, dressed them and stewed them in herbs similar to those found in Ithilien.

I have more trouble with Easter Bunny than Santa because, like Corin, I think the Easter Bunny is just there to take away from the real meaning of Easter. If there's one holiday that ought to remain a holy-day, it should be Easter...

There is real trouble in this world, and it is not the Easter Bunny!

You bought those? I came after the fact, but always thought you caught 'em in your yard.

Yeah! We could have Easter at OUR house this year...
