The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Do we need to do a roll call? - Just want to make sure we didn't lose anyone in that Scouring.I'm wandering through the last 500 posts in the old thread. Man, that was a fast, unannounced move.
I received another 10 knives for our HHD project. I'll have them engraved, and ready for shipment ASAP. The last two "rapid response" knives from the last batch will be mailed tomorrow to two deserving GIs.
This also means I have two more freebies to give away. The first freepmail gets choice of the CRKT t-shirt, or the Smoky Mountain advertising knife. The second freepmail gets what's left over. I think you all know what the knife looks like, so here's the best image I could find of the t-shirt:

We aren't allowed to be fat on this thread. This is the newer, leaner, more restrained Hobbit Hole thread!

I'm embarassed to say that, because there's nothing else on, we're watching
The Scorpion King- a total waste of film.
However, I was suprised to discover that Bernard Hill has a small part in it. He plays the daffy scientist.
Guess he hit hard times.
To: Lil'freeper
Heh. I'm listening to Jack Benny.
To: Overtaxed
I LOVE Jack Benny. I have every show of his in mp3 format - very funny stuff.

I'm working on it. Found an ftp site that has >30,000 radio shows available for download (you pay by the gigabyte). They have 510 Jack Benny shows. I also downloaded Leo Durocher doing The Brooklyn Pinafore on the Fred Allen show.
To: Lil'freeper
There's a daffy scientist in Scorpion King?
I'm sitting through very badly rendered Christmas carols. My sister brought some friends home for the night and one thinks she can play piano. She can't.
