The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Haven't heard the weather forecast for here. Just know I'll be inside all weekend with Luke whilst wife and Jr. are doing the final weekend of the Christmas show. That's okay, I plan to put up the tree tomorrow. If he's feeling better, that could be fun. If he's not, I'll just bundle him on the couch and let him watch.
But your egg nog reminded me...I think I'm needing some bourbon for the weekend. Don't usually keep it around.

Ugh...there is almost NO way to make a truly tasty dish using jello, IMO.
And seems like every potluck dinner I've been to, just about ALL the people who were supposed to bring a salad bring some sort of jello thing...usually with VEGETABLES in it...like carrots and corn. Ew, ew, ew!

I am almost beside myself with giddiness, sort of. Are you really waiting till Friday to go to the movie?

Is it possible to put up a tree without at least five small people running around underfoot "helping"?
Listening to your Christmas decorating stories makes me realize just how weird my family is...

It dipped down to 20 degrees last night at 3:53am and stayed that until 7:53am...Not sure what the temp is now...but the sun is shining so it may have gone up.
I'm tempted to dry a load of laundry on the line...
Naaaawwwhhh...too cold!

Morning eveyrone!
Sheesh! The thread is already almost 400 posts long!!! We HHDers are chatsey folks, that's for sure.
Sam Cree - I'll be watching for deflated snowman in Miami. *grin*
Deb - Thanks for coming in with such positive and encouraging posts! Please accept our BIG THANKS to you and JRD and CL. We're all a bit disappointed and confused at the news of Saruman's absence in ROTK. How will that work, I wonder? Hmmmm....
Hair - I will try to be a beacon of restraint. "try" being the operative word. *smile*
Corin - Alyson is almost 18 months old now. I am tormented daily with Barney, The Wiggles AND the Teletubbies. The things we do for our kids.
OK, enough chit chat. On to breakfast!

Gidget LOVES the Teletubbies! Do not let her watch it! ... All kinds of seeded under threshhold of perception messages. It is probably why she's acting weird. It was one of the very first things she showed interest in on TV as a pup.... I thought it was all the bright colors and funny noises!
