Office discussion is centered around ROTK. One got to see the back-to-back EEs in the theater already, another has his tix for tomorrow in hand. (I'm jealous).

Gads I am up so early. . .feeling soooooo ROTK. Got our tickets for the 12:01 am showing here. Terry has gone back to Jersey (sad), so it will just be me going along with Sunday and Aimee'.

Went Christmas shopping some last night and found Sunday a flat Legolas. . .gonna try to get that photo op. today if we can. If we are successful, will post it.

I'm on my way out of town but wanted to post this first.

Just got this from Steve in reply to my asking of the troops reaction where he is:

Well, no one really seemed to care much. The majority opinion is
that his capture will not change things for us. Everyone is on a
wait and see basis. I dont know if you knew it or not, but they
found him a few miles from our camp. As far as the care packages,
and knives...our mail is at another camp 90 miles away, and no word
on when it will get here. They also lost our shipping container
which had all our winter clothes, and extra under clothes in it. We
are getting to shower every three to four days because of a water
shortage in this area. I dont know how they can be short on water,
since it wont quit raining. Other than all that it isnt too bad
here. Love and miss you.

corin, had ham and eggs and a bagel with lotsuh cream cheese fer breakfast.... mmmmmmmmmmm.... tri-glycerides... just keep gettin' that good exercise... you know, house werk, bored meetins' beatin' Jr...

2J, threw another nest box t'gether yesterday, seeded with golf balls... one of the barred rocks wuz in it almost immediately, but no eggses yet... I'll get a pic fer yuh...

as far as shortages of winter clothes and underwear, been there and done that... yeah, it blows, but if yer all miserable, then it's kopasetic... itsuh shame it happens, but it wouldn't be war if it didn't...

I just fetched Roy's egg...although she probably laid it at 5:30am...since that's when STEVE CAME IN AND WOKE ME UP AND TOLD ME THE CHICKENS WERE BOCKING!!!

"What do I do?" he asked.

Since I couldn't see him doing what I do, which is go out there and talk soothingly to them and cluck at them softly till they calm down...I replied "Just let 'em out."

It worked, they calmed down...but I never really got back to sleep. Tonight is gonna be heck.

I'm already feeling halfway fried this morning with all of the things I've got to do ebfore the end of the day. Add to that, I'm bitter about not being able to see ROTK until Thursday. *sigh* No problem, it'll be worth the wait!

On to food!!!!
