Yay, I got paid. I can order my books off Amazon (mostly next semester's texts, but also a couple novels...)

Okay, so after that big skeer about my arteries cloggin' up and me bein' pre-diabetic, I hadn't heard from those tests. So I called the nurse today and she said "you mean the Dr. didn't call you?" She had the numbers on her desk and said, "they're on the high side, but really not that bad."

So now I'm tryin' t' interpret all these numbers...supposedly they're sending the info to me in the mail.

Remember... doctors make money when you're sick... but they do tend to make more by keeping you alive...

course, I was already sposed to have had a follow up appt. in November but I haven't gotten around to making that appt. yet!

Thanks mstar! - No specific date yet! Sometime in July we think. That is when his folks can come.

I watched the SNL with Elijah... He can be cuter than those skits were. SNL is so bad these days. I suppose they were always bad... The only one that was really good was the sit-com promo with him living with Gollum. That was well done.

I backed out long ago from the beach house, I was able to make the first $50 payment, but that was it.

But I still hoped I would be able to make it, at least stay in a tent of something...but that doesn't look likely either.
