The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I can't believe there's a town in Texas that doesn't have an HEB. Buda has an HEB, for goodness' sake!

you weren't born and raised here. in a family predominately populated with high school footbal coaches. i think i learned football right along with things like eating and putting my socks on.

Studyin' fer an A+???

Rose can do that standin' on 'er head. I have people werkin fer me that have an A+ that don't have half the talent that Rose has.

Which brings me to another question... How do y'all feel about the Bay Area or California in general? :-)

Yeah, she's finding it pretty easy... her job requires that she qualify for 3 certs before her next annual review. And, I'm going to take the test as well, because so many jobs now require applicants to be certified before they'll even look at your resume'.

How do y'all feel about the Bay Area or California in general? :-)

Welll.... why do you ask? ;)

Holy cow!

Yeah! I know! This is the first time in my life, in Texas, that I haven't had an HEB handy!

But, ya know, back when I lived in Austin it was like the only place in Texas that didn't have WalMarts. They fixed that after I left.
