Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I'm with you! The friends that I am with when I go to the games are what really make it fun for me. That is worthwhile for sure!

After three months of kicking and screaming we finally got the doors, and floor armor plated. Damn... well, I'm not there but that sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
As an aside... today I watched a presentation from one of our employees that is working in the field with SOF in Afghanistan. Somee interesting stories there. We're working with some guys there with "short-notice" (like "yesterday") requests for products that we basically have to deliver on the fly... some pretty cool stuff has been developed. Most of it is with our robotics stuff. But some of it has been other odd sorts of things like a special air-cooling uniform that seems to be a pretty big hit. There's some really interesting stuff headed your way.

Sausage/Cheese Balls
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 pound (8 oz) sausage
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Dash salt
2 teaspoons paprika
Cream butter in food processor or mixer until light and fluffy
Add cheese, sausage, flour, salt and paprika and mix.
Shape dough into smalleven balls
Place on greased cookie sheed and bake at 400 F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool on the cookie sheet.
You can adjust the butter:cheese:sausage ratio.

I wish I could talk about some of the robotics I saw in development in our [desert southwest] office.
Really FREAKING COOL this stuff was.

She's studying for her A+ certification.
I had fajitas, she had the fajita meat in a big bowl of salad. Thumbs up from both of us! We used the pre-seasoned meat from HEB, by the way... just sliced it up and threw it into a pan. Worked well!
