The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I used to like Abuelo's when it was a family owned single location in Lubbock. Since it went corporate it's not as good. Msdrby and I also went to one on our first date. At least they still know the enchiladas are to be served with a fried egg on top!

Now it's freakin' mushroom cheeseburgers. Is that Swiss cheese?

My hunger is not getting any better. And I've still got more than half my stack of papers to grade.

Mushrooms....

Burgers.....

MMMMmmmm....

Abuelo's does the egg? Do they have a verde sauce? That you can get with beef?

Lately all these chain places that discover salsa verde only put it on chicken stuff. What's with that? I like beef and verde.

and an egg....

over easy.

No egg on my enchiladas, thanks.

Rose's favorite place is Teka Molina, in San Antonio. Every time we visit San Antone, we have to stop there for lunch. Not that I mind at all... they've got good grease!

Went pretty well.... It is a really entry level position... definately a 'tweener' position to get by on... only part time. Trick will be whether they would rather give it to someone they know will stay around. My reported income from my last position is about 3X what this makes.

Good news is I have to drive through the Indian Reservation to get there, so cigarettes would be cheap! And I could buy illegal fireworks, if I were the kind to want such things!

Maybe you could start a side business smuggling cigarettes and fireworks.

Until you got busted by the ATF, anyway.

Another moot perhaps! :-)

Ya'll are going to think I'm nuts.... but my absolute first place to go to eat when I get to San Antone is Chris Madrid's. For a burger!!! They got the best BURGERS in the whole universe!
