I used to like Abuelo's when it was a family owned single location in Lubbock. Since it went corporate it's not as good. Msdrby and I also went to one on our first date. At least they still know the enchiladas are to be served with a fried egg on top!

Abuelo's does the egg? Do they have a verde sauce? That you can get with beef?

Lately all these chain places that discover salsa verde only put it on chicken stuff. What's with that? I like beef and verde.

No egg on my enchiladas, thanks.

Rose's favorite place is Teka Molina, in San Antonio. Every time we visit San Antone, we have to stop there for lunch. Not that I mind at all... they've got good grease!
