Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

LOL! Yeah, I guess so!

Well. I hung out with a lot of musicians when I lived in Austin. And I got acquainted with a lot of 'em enough to be comfortable as just friends, so I didn't think about it like meeting strangers.

I think that's probably just as flattering as someone who's completely coherent!
There's an author I'd really love to meet, but I know if I did I would be reduced to a stuttering mess, because she leaves me in awe...

No I haven't seen it. Must be pretty kewl. I personally am not a big appliance lover or user. I use a Wok alot, the oven, a hand held can opener...and ummmm the microwave ;-p

W you and Purple Q make it for the 12th and 2J and her mom for the 13th and that would be perfect.
These tickets are paid for by my friend's company. They buy a block of them every year, season tickets. The show friday starts at about 7 I think. I'll plan on being there at about 5:30. Gonna take off work for this one.

I only USE a few...got a coffee maker, coffee grinder, and the microwave. Oh, and an older crockpot someone gave me.
But I'd like an ice cream maker, a waffle iron, a toaster, maybe a food processor...

Huh, sounds like an anime convention?
That would scare me. Conventions in general... I've never even been to a scifi con. There's a lot of weirdoes at those things.
Tell him to have fun!

Heh...might be cheaper to find one locally. Just maybe. ;-)
Actually I have no place to PUT anything like that! Hence I don't have 'em. But when I get a house with a beeeg kitchen, there will be a shelf for a select group of appliances. Not a gadget for everything, though.

Until Entmoot I had watched one anime movie...two if Totoro counts. So...I'm not knowledgeable!
Conventions in general seem kinda spooky to me. I mean...I'm a LOTR enthusiast, but conventions seem to be made up of people who really DO believe they're characters in the story. Dunno how that would apply to anime, but I imagine people are REALLY obsessed with anime, to an extreme.
To: RosieCotton
I have been given 3 of them. And I don't like waffles. All 3 of them are at Grama's house though cause I didn't want 'em.

Cool Beans!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I say lets do it WN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can leave work at lunch time on the 12th and head on down to Houston!
And MBY...you are saying I will not owe you for MY ticket?!?
WN... are we gonna stay the night and hang out Saturday so we can see and visit with 2J and her boys?
To: My back yard
I don't know anything about it, but I think I
found their website. Looks like an anime-based con held in Austin, this coming weekend.
To: Wneighbor
I like waffles once in a great while. Not always with syrup...strawberries and powdered sugar on a waffle is vey good...blueberries, too.
But not enough to run out and buy a waffle iron. Pancakes are a decent substitute...and I got me an iron griddle I can use for OTHER things, too.

I dunno how we're gonna work it out but we're gonna see 'em all if I have any way at all to figure it out!!!
