The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That Tony Chacheres, and it IS vey good. I just put some pork chops in the over myself, though I just added a little bit of cayenne to the Shake and Bake stuff. I don't usually use that, but the kids were with me at the store yesterday and thought it sounded good.

Gotta go the the washateria and get Joseph's comforter from the dryer. Had to wash and dry it there cause it's WAY too big for even my extra capacity machine! Sucker cost me $3.50 to wash, though and another $.75 to dry! Glad I don't have to do THAT too often!

The kids will be so excited to crank that thing...for about 5 minutes and the charm will wear off. You or Steve will have to do it the rest of the time. But you'll sure enjoy that ice cream!! Mama used to make an orange-pineapple sherbet using a 1/2 gallon of ice milk mix (yes you could buy it in the store, just like milk), a 2 liter bottle of orange soda and a #2 can of crushed pineapple. It was SOME good!!

These were WW2 and prior weapons that had never been uncrated. They are most likely still there.

Put your mind at ease. The klintons used our tax money to pay $12 apiece to have those weapons destroyed. After all, they were "getting guns off the street". They certainly didn't want to sell them to American taxpayers (who paid for them in the first place) for a couple hundred bucks apiece, when they could pay someone $12 apiece to destroy them. Meanwhile, they gave M-16s to hick police departments everywhere, where the local bubbas have a hard time mastering a 9mm.

Meanwhile, I've ordered three pair of Motorola T5720s in the name of the Hobbit Hole, to ship to Steve's unit. I should have them Thursday, and back into the mail Friday. I'll probably use an electric engraver to put a "HH" on them, just to tell them apart from the others.

We'll have a contest later on how to make life miserable for Audiovox.

One of our local dairies still does.

http://www.cowtruck.com

With a minimum order of more than $10, they deliver (with a $.75 delivery charge)

They even use the old-school milk trucks.

Yet another reason (as if I need more) to loathe X-42 and his merry band of thieves and degenerates.

Nope. I teach CADD. But, I am the head of the department and animation is in this department so I'm responsible for it.

I wish I could get Administration to listen to me and implement a CAD course into the "Interactive Media" program here. I still see a decent job market for people with CAD/AutoCAD experience.

Hey...great buy! I'm always looking for good buys...I get that from my Dad mostly...I'll talk anyone down from anything. Find the guy/gal that owns the shop and anything is possible...hotel rooms included. :-)

I'm sure your chickens are great, but doubt that you'll be able to trade even two of them for a cow. :-) G'nad says he is getting ready to make fried chicken...one of the RR is laying up here by the house. Found more than a dozen eggses in a nice little corner up here...we now have a nest box with straw for her which makes three places to check for eggs. She must have started laying while we were in Fl. I doubt that g'nad would really ever hurt them...I think he has this soft spot in his heart for em. Don't tell him I said that.

He told me about your sausage patties...mmmm sausage...but you ate the grease...are you lookin for a heart attack? mmmm grease...

Well. It isn't as nice as my laptop. But it's pretty good. It's an Optiplex. Only has half the RAM of my laptop though. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

Here we don't have a market for our Multimedia/Animation graduates so the program is prolly gonna be sunsetted next year. I still have a good market for my CADD guys so I'm okay - for now. There are lots of manufacturers in our area and the Dallas/Ft Worth area who hire my graduates.

Good afternoon all!

Eeek! It's only 12 degrees outside...cooled down considerably..it was melting a bit today.

If I had a girl, I would name her Sabrina Ruth. I think that is pretty..Boy's name would be...Steven Conner.
