Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I found my old Atari 2600 game console, with a stack of the games.
Wow. Miner 2049er. What else did we play? hmmmm My older brother (Jim) who was in the Navy then had that Atari system. He would come for Christmas every year and the whole family of us would play marathon games with much coffeee, alll night long. We just couldn't stand to waste his time here sleeping.

No. I've tried it before and it falls on deaf ears.
They're "Corporate Pod People", they're simply not of this earth, I'm convinced. Logic and reason fail them...they prefer irrational decisions and words like "initiative", "spearhead", and "paradigm".

It was revolting. I think you could leave those kind of free food items out in the future 2J!
I am trying to catch up on being behind for being gone since practically mid-December. I'm not catching up yet.

I remember having to type in all the programs before getting to play a game on the Atari.
If y'all can pass this around, I'd be grateful : for those who love books and discussing them, but keep finding leftist-laden forums who snicker and sneer at conservative principles without any retribution from the moderator, but find any conservative rebuttal you have as 'offensive, off-topic and too argumentative to be on the forum' we have a list for you : <a href="http://www.brazoscantina.com/archives/000227.html>A Little Right Reading.</a>

Miner 2049er -- uh, 5200? Yeah it was later on. He started with the 2600 too. We did that for many years. It is almost a Christmas tradition. I remember also Christmas of 89 or 90, we got Dr. Mario that year and played marathon events all through Christmas. Something for my whole family says to get the newest game stuff and gather together and drink coffee and stay up for days playing together, so that everyone looks like zombies by New Years eve. I broke out the old Dr. Mario last summer and we've all been getting back into that in a big way. Lotsa fun with 4 players and the whole family knows how to play.

Of course! They never leave...I'm convinced they have cots and showers somewhere in their offices.

One guy left already... he has rear-wheel drive and barely got out of the parking lot. It just keeps coming.

Me and my brothers would hold 'Joust' tournaments.
I consistently held the title of "Grandest Joust Champeen" from May until December the first year we got that game.

That really stinks about the car! It's one reason I don't like driving in snow/ice...there's always some fool driving too fast for conditions. Maybe by tomorrow at 10:00 all the idiots would have had their wrecks already.
I've got a banana bread in the oven and we're watching Horatio Hornblower. I think I have a promising second career as a cat door person.
To: JenB
I wish it would hurry up and get here already!

This one's called Loyalty. Sister has a new DVD/VCR combo and bought a couple of DVD's: Horatio Hornblower: Loyalty, and Duty and Roman Holiday.

I'm watching snow fall. It just keeps coming, big white flakes of doo-OOO-ooo-OOO-oom.

As long as it's not the freezing rain of doo-OOO-ooo-OOOmmmm!

Dunno, my car was safe in the freezing rain, but apparently the Slush of Dooo-OOO-ooo-OOmm was too much for the other driver...

I'll pass that around yes. But I think it is time we not let people run us off those others though. :)
