My older brother was almost named Gabriel.

Now that's a pretty heavy name!

"If you go to his father's family reunion, the last name of half of the people there is his mother's maiden name."

Sounds like the Bahamas. Half of everyone in the whole country has the same names.

I know a Gabriel. Or did when I was little. Gabe.

I worked with a guy who named his son Gabriel Talon. That's a bit...different.

Are you sure you have enough anti-freeze in it? I know you just bought it, and the dealer may not have filled it from last year.

It's going in for an oil change in a few days here...they'll check all that as well.

Also it's warming up over the next few days.

Is everyone's virus checker updated?

Our Norton Anti-virus software checker window popped up about an hour ago letting me know it had stopped an incoming virus! I had a couple of suspicious e-mails and dumped them.

Yeah well, my given name trumps (or is it trumpets) Gabriel.

It does get confusing. Yeah. Furniture I'm not sure of. (The senator with our last name is his mother's uncle.)

'Course now my uncle is my step-dad and my cousin is my sister...but that's another story.

I've heard pieces of that strange tale. lol funny.

I AM planning on bringing "Jeeves and Wooster".

Those shows are just hilarious!! I LOVE Hugh Laurie! I know Stephen Fry is a poofter (don't know about Hugh), but I like him anyway!

It's a good name! Albeit vey common.

I've only had TWO direct supervisors in the last ten years who did NOT have your given name. That's out of six.

I was wondering if you had changed the oil in it recently... or if it had winter-weight oil in it. Sounds to me like the oil is thickening in the cold and taking longer than usual to circulate properly.

(The senator with our last name is his mother's uncle.)

I am trying to remember how this one goes. My husband's grandfather has several brothers, one of whom's son is the senator from NC, and he is married to my husband's mother's mother's sister. I think.

Rose and I have never been able to decide on a girl's name for any daughter we might have... but we have decided that any boy will be named after his grandfathers. My Dad was named "Jack", and Rose's Dad was named "Marshall".

Only problem with that is, if we go with "Marshall Jack" he'll probably have to clean up the town... and if we go with "Jack Marshall" he'll probably become lost in time...

Or "Wallace and Grommit".

Now You're talking!! "Have you seen this Chicken?"

2J, you need to see if the Wal-Mart movie rental thing has any Wallace and Grommit movies. The titles are The Wrong Trousers, A Grand Day Out, and A Close Shave . You and the boys will be crying laughing!!
