The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Well, I think we are going to work outside for a while... got some nervous energy to work off. I am getting kinda stressed out about our job situation. If'n we are gonna have a wedding in six months (even a cheap one) we need to start replenishing the bank accounts soon. And the want ads have continued to be rather sparse lately.
Be back later.

I think Sean Astin should have been nominated. Others too, but especially that one.

Heh...since I'm from Virginia and wife from North Carolina, we had her family convinced that if we had a girl we were gonna name her "Virgilina."
To: Corin Stormhands
Long 'I'??? Oh no, you wouldn't do that to her really? That would be worse than Mulva or Dolores. lol

It's kinda depressing, though.
But yeah, if it ever does happen, I've got LOTS of ideas!

LOL Just what I was thinking.
By the way...I figured out who Marigold is...that Sam mentions in the book ROTK...
Do you know?
'So that was the job I felt I had to do when I started, thought Sam: to help Mr. Frodo to the last step and then die with him? Well, if that is the job then I must do it. But I would dearly like to see Bywater again, and Rosie Cotton and her brothers, and the Gaffer and Marigold and all.'

No, of course not (there is a town named that on the border tho). I just get a kick out of seein' how gullible they really are.
Back before we were married wife was playing a game with her neice, naming an animal for every letter of the alphabet. They had trouble when they got to "N."
I suggested "Nauga." You know, where they get "Naugahide."
Family thought it was a great answer. Wife just looked at me and rolled her eyes.

Pretty horse.

If I was born a girl, my name would have been Rebecca.
My mom was determined to name us all after Biblical characters, so she ended up with three boys named John, Joseph, and Matthew. (My younger brother would have been named Esther)

Yeah! She married Tolman, Farmer Cotton's son...
I just figured it out last night, whilst perusing the family trees.
