By the way, did you watch those awards last night? Scary how unreal those people look. Most of the women were scrawnier than Ann Coulter, and the guys were just freaky. Our crowd looked so nice and natural!

Looks coooooold. Big'ol was up at 0500 plowing. He observed that doughboy- aka the gravel rustler- hasn't bothered to plow his drive since the storm last week. LOL- and his is maybe a 12th as long as ours. Bum!

It looks like that here, too, only we're supposed to get freezing rain all day, which is why I decided not to go halfway to Pittsburgh. I'll make that time up somewhere, there's enough to do at the office!

Morning!
Well I'm not leaving here until Wednesday evening. Good news is that there isn't any ice on the trees or power lines. We're expecting freezing rain later on today.

Well, to be honest, I don't plow our driveway. But it's not that long. It's also gravel. I will later shovel off the deck (for the purpose of taking the dog out to poop) and will shovel the walk to the car.
May later have to shovel the end of the drive if/when the plows come thru.
VDOT has been whining for months that they don't have the money to clean the roads. Big winter last year, hurricane, etc. 'Course they'd have it if they weren't such idiots when it came to contract management.

Yeah, I'm home today. Got a layer of crust on top of all that. I could get out if I had to. Don't wanna.

Our driveway developes this big hump of ice from the snowplows going past. By midwinter it's a foot high and a real pain to get over. It's frozen solid, too, so we can't do anything about it.
People are driving around, here. Glad I don't have to. The boss finally made it in.

Well, the price of secluded living for us is a long drive on a fairly steep hill. Can't escape if it isn't plowed and I gots to go to work tomorrow.
