All this talk of cold weather! Relatively mild here..... 40 degrees, not raining at the moment.

Good Morning All; it's a good morning cause we gots power. Good coating of ice everywhere, Samantha was not amused, not too bad yet but then I ain't planning to leave. Gotta get the ice off first.
Weatherweenies say it's worse down your way, Lake region getting it. Not many cars so far, one pedestrian on her way to the corner to fetch up the Sunday edition of fish wrapping aka the KC Star.

I had to pay last year, for some reason (I should be pretty standard!) I was under-with-holding.

we got oaks and hickory... no real problems there... but we've got a few dead one that need cleaned up... none near the house... the power line right of way is well maintained, so a branch on the power lines ain't an issue... the weight of the ice on the lines is...
