Well, I'm back.

It was horrible. The whole time I could sense a air of hostility towards us, being homeschoolers and BOY SCOUTS...being the liberal rag that they are and seeing as they ran a hit piece on homeschooling not too long ago.

Who's brilliant idea it was to go to the place for a field trip is beyond me.

At one point the tour guide showed off a roll of newspaper...weighed a ton. He said "Now doesn't this just look like a big roll of toilet paper?" It was all I could do not to say that toilet paper was all his paper was worth straight off the news stand.

This is vey profound! I was a paperboy in my early teens. I got to thinking recently how no kid will ever have that particulary opportunity again.

Somebody in the cub scout den. I wouldn't have gone, but he had a requirement that stemmed from it and we already didn't go to the "bear carving" situation...

I did forget that you had to pay for parking in downtown, I hardly ever GO down town! Someone had to pay that for me. I felt terrible.

I tell ya, I am an absolute nitwit sometimes.

Hey, I got the ingredients for the hot wings! I also bought some chicken quarters for the boys, not gonna put the hot sauce on them. I'll just bake them a bit longer than the wings.

They'll find new things. I answered phones for a year and a half starting when I was fourteen, and then did some technical writing.

End of an era. I know there is other stuff.

I also worked in my grandpa'a auto shop from ages 11 to 18. OSHA would have sh!t if it weren't a family business. It was so fun. We built carbide cannon and other stuff in between all to hard stuff.

Hey, do you cut your wings into pieces or keep them whole? Do I just cut off and discard the nubbins before cooking?

Well, I cut them up and have the little nubbins off to the side to see what you do with them? You know? Just the little wing tips...

I cut them at both joints. Used the new Miracle Blade, which is something because I am just terrified of it...I can just see in my mind's eye my finger being Miracle Bladed in two...

I though it was "Let's Stand Up. My Fanny's Tired."

You must see "O, Brother Where Art Thou."

I know Clooney's a ____________ (fill in your own term), but it's a great movie.
