The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

LOL No, I decided to wash clothes late in the day...got most of them done but found a few extras lurking in unusual places (like behind the bunk bed). I washed them and now have them hanging on the clothesline that is on our porch with the fan blowing on them, because I need a couple of the items in the morning. I'm taking the jedis on a field trip to see how a newspaper works.
The Tulsa World. A liberal piece of crap. I just hope one of my boys doesn't ASK why they are a liberal piece of crap, they've heard me say it so much...I wouldn't care, but it might embarrass the group we're going with.

Hey Ramius!
This debate is such crrrrrrrapola! It's like a carnival freak show.
I've been calling John Kerry "Frankenberry" for weeks and now I can't stop! I called him that today at work when someone brought up that the debate was tonight. LOL!!

Alyson's dad has to fly to New York to pick up his new wife from Russia. He just found out today that her visa was approved. A mail-order bride??? You're $#itting me. :-)

Hey, about half of all single male Freepers seem to think it's the only way to go.
'Cause all we American gals are conniving feminazis out to destroy their lives, take all their money, and leave them in misery, doncha know. ALL of us. FReeper women included.
To: Ramius
Actually, it's his 4th mail order wife. But I'm not one to gossip, so you didn't hear it from me!
It isn't Glen, just so you know!

Yah... sure. But that cuts into quality beer hours.Honey don't be tellin' me that! I will not believe that you would ever let work cut into your beer hours of any quality. You might work while with beer, but you would not cut it out! LOL

I've seen those threads and refuse to participate in them.
Too much bitterness there to even consider that a faceless screen name will change hearts and minds.

Sigh...I know.
But they invade EVERY thread about singles - or marriage, for that matter. And a lot of them COULD be very good threads if it weren't for those guys. But their like vultures, and they show up EVERY TIME.
I get discouraged at times, but I can't imagine going through life THAT bitter and jaded!!

Well, I was just telling 2J that I didn't think I would actually be able to meet up with PE. I am just too worn out. I was thinkin' of callin' him today but I was so sleepy that I took a nap on my lunch break.
I have PE's number at work. I know I have your other numbers but frankly, I'm not sure I can locate the address book tonight! :-)
I'm thinkin' you will get more mooting out of me by waiting a week or so for a good taquito moot day.

Oh oh. Well, If you can't go, you can't go.
BTW - the friend who subbed for me last week told me last night that he would sub for me again in July if I need it! :-) Now, gotta talk to my boss - and I better wait to do that till I get my budget paperwork finished so he's happy with me when I mention it! *wink*

You know, most of them would never admit it, but they're probably more upset about paying child support / alimony than they are over the actual breakup.
Not all, but some.
Some of the things I've read on those threads really frightened me. One thread in particular was desolving rapidly into "how to kill your ex-wife and get away with it". *shudder*

it's his 4th mail order wife. Fourth??? Good grief... how many mulligans do they let you have before you have to count a stroke on the ol' scorecard???
To: RMDupree
They all egg each other on...I think that's why they get as bad as they do - the threads, I mean.
OK, done with that subject! I just ventured onto one yesterday and I'm still smarting a bit, that's all...
To: Wneighbor
Well, If you can't go, you can't go. Exactly how I feel about it, but you would think that I'd violated some blood oath from the reaction my mother had. Sheesh!
I'm thrilled that my cousin is getting married! So thrilled, that I don't want to ruin it.

Looking forward to taquito moot!Me too! Actually, thinking of having time to relax and do that is helping me get through all this drive/class/work time this week. I wish I didn't feel obligated to go have dinner with my brother's family tomorrow night. I'd really rather just find a place to rest and relax!!! Then someday I might feel more like visiting with them.
Remember I've told you about my aggie brother who coached at Bryan High School? Well, they fired all the football coaching staff and he's now looking for a new coaching position. He's wanting to go to some A or AA school now. He's been at Bryan for 25 years though.
