The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I was s'posed to see Ann Miller with Mickey Rooney in Sugar Babies when they were in Richmond (1985). But she hurt her ankle. Her understudy was good. Rooney stuck up the joint.

gotta go

Should I say it?

Hi guys, back from class. I've got to write a 500 word story this weekend. Ugh, why couldn't it be 5000 words? Or some decent length? Plus, everything has to mean something. It has to portend.

I think I'm gonna write about a guy with wings.

Hey guys...

I got a zipped program that turns out to be an Excel program that I can't open. It's a database of OTR programs...

What can I do to access it? Is there an Excel viewer anywhere, or am I just out of luck?

Can you get a copy of Office cheap? Like some sort of educator discount?

I don't know personally, all our computers use stuff from the office. Since most of them are Dad's and one is mine, it's ok... but I've never had to look for a viewer or anything.

Oh! Try opening it with your browser. Go to File, Open, and browse to the file.

Do you have some instructions that I should print up and put in with the knife? Along with the letter I already wrote?

That was a nice letter. I'm going to have to borrow parts of it.

As for knife handling, WN made up some instructions based on photos I did of dos and dont's. Perhaps she can run off a batch for those folks who will be shipping knives. I know I could use some.

The warning sheet is good, but WN's added material is better.
