It seems to be a fine quality countertop...the guy that owned the house before us did all the remodeling and really used some of the finest materials in such a small house. His taste was just different from mine (remember the lime-green bathroom with emerald green carpet?) I prefer a more understated color scheme...the blueish grey you describe sounds just like what I'd choose.

And another thing. The whole house, cabinets and everything, are painted antique white. I don't mind it on the cabinets, but I prefer WHITE walls. I like BRIGHT white walls! Our bathroom is painted a more bright color white than the rest of the house and it really does cheer the place up in there! That lime sherbet color was horrible and everything was that color, the cabinets and all.

I gotta go pick up JOshua, then I'm swinging by Celeste's house to pick up that fresh wild pig meat! Mmmmm!
