The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I've been up about an hour. The girls ran out of food and their water was frozen, so I heard them kicking up a fuss...I dashed out there and took care of them, gave them a few handfuls of scratch to make up for it. It's 17 degrees out there and they did ok without the heatlamp.

LMAO - Oh...my...stars...that is the best song ever!
I particularly liked the 70's porno-style drums and synthesizers...chickachickachickachickachicka ZEAR-now-nowt *whick-cha* zear now-now-nowt
Oh man...I'm definitely burning this to a CD...nothing like cruising the streets of Providence with this tune cranked!

Morning HHDers!
I've arrived at work to a MOUNTAIN of backlog. It never fails that as soon as I leave the office, everything that can go wrong will. *sigh*
So, the Lord of the Lash is cracking the whip, thus I must begin to dig through the pile.
Here's some breakfast until I can return! Notice the HUGH cup of coffee!

It's quite a catchy tune! Did you listen to it?
~And~ we figured out at Entmoot that if you start singing it when Frodo and Sam and Gollum are hiding at the base of the stair and the the Orcs are marching out of Minas Morgul, the beat of the Soundtrack works just like it was meant to be!

Yep...it's cold! I meant to put the heat lamp out there for them, but didn't get around to it....it wasn't single digits, so I wasn't too worried and the wind wasn't blowing very hard.
Supposed to be in the 20s and low thirtys at night for the rest of the week. Cold, gotta deal with the frozen water, but not dreadful cold.

LOL Bless 'em...they are too busy eating their steaming warm oatmeal.
I cool it down to warm with some milk, then add just a bit of sugar.
They love it.

Been watching Stuart Little 2. The boys love it, but it's not lost on me that they show the skyline of NYC without the WTC towers. It kinda makes me sad, but I also am kinda glad they do it. Almost like they are saying "Sure, things are different...things have changed...but here's a fanciful little story ANYWAY."

Ya have a seriesly good looking family WN. Glad to see you got the chance to see them.

Don't say dip, or chips, or mention the food. I got on the scale this morning! ARGH! At least it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be; there's optimism for ya! So it's back to the old low-carb eating plan today and hydrobics tomorrow. I'll be a more svelte Hobbit lass the next time y'all see me, though I know that should be a contradiction in terms.
To: RMDupree; RosieCotton
The Spinach Dip is also good if you add some chopped up water chestnuts; gives it some nice crunch.
