The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That's the beauty of it though. We were all able to just talk and talk until we talked ourselves out.

And then, after a few minutes of comfortable silence, we start talking again!

I don't think he has yet. I'm nagging...errr...reminding him frequently to sign up.

I made some spinach dip tonight for myself and Becky. I'll never make it again without thinking of Entmoot!

Don't say dip, or chips, or mention the food. I've been hitting the diet hard, yesterday and today. Today's the worst, by tomorrow the nibblies should be over. Argh, but I want chips. Or popcorn. Or chocolate.

Oh, I'd almost forgotten about that spinach dip! That was great, too!

Thanks for all you did to make sure the weary travelers had plenty to eat when we got in! That was wonderful.

And I need your spinach dip recipe one of these days!

Chocolate!! Mmmmmmmm..........

OK, I've put this off for far too long.

Let me get the kids to bed. I'll be back later!

1 box frozen chopped spinach
1 - 16oz container of sour cream
1 envelope of Lipton's Vegetable Soup and Dip Mix

Thaw spinach, drain. Add sour cream and vegetable mix, stir until well blended. Put in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Serve with pumpernickel bread, breadsticks, crackers, etc.

It's that easy!

Well, my sister and I can attest that there are squirrels who will do this.

I'm glad I never made fun of Marl when that chipmunk, to escape her barn cats, ran up her leg, and onto the top of her head.

"Florida has a lot more hurricanes than Texas does!"

Here, I disagree, though we both have lots.

Oh boy.
A friend of my missus had a shrew in her yard.
Unfortunately, it wanted to hide under her boots.
