OT: You've got quite a way with words!

All: Great pictures!

ecurbh & hair - fantastic job on the picture gallery...I love it!

Corin: Hope you're feeling better, and your dog has had a chance to p. lol

To all the "itchers" - If you can find it, 'Ivy Dry' always works out well for me whenever I have bug bites or poison ivy. It works along the same lines of rubbing alcohol, but also has a topical analgesic ingredient that helps soothe your skin. I don't think it's available OTC anymore, but the pharmacist ought to have it.

Today was a rather sad day for me. I went back to the condo to clean, spackle, paint, and generally get it ready for the next tennant. My step-father came with me to help, which was fine.

The sad part happened when I was painting Autumn's old room. See...about 3 weeks before she was born, I painted the nursery in a nice cerulean blue, and then hand-painted clouds and a tree-line. Today, I had to paint over all of it with a nice, boring, titanium white.

It just about killed me as I was painting over the old paint job...thinking back about the 3+ years of memories that room gave all of us. Shoot, Jess and I always, and until this very day, called it "the baby's room". All the late night feedings, the potty training, the nightmare soothing, music, hide & seek, illnesses, fort building, the rocking chair...all of it. Man, it just really got to me. It really, really sucked to have to paint over it.

Anyway...that was about the extent of my day. Jess has to start work soon, and it's almost Autumn's bedtime, so I won't be on here long.

"Sleep till the morning-light, rest on the pillow. Heed no nightly noise. Fear no grey willow."

Until tomorrow, FRiends!

Oh, hey... to answer your question from earlier, the only female "Native American" associated with the X-Men I can think of is Danielle Moonstar, aka Mirage. She was one of the original New Mutants.

I'm back for a bit.

What's hidden in the new thread graphic, ecurbh? It looks like the original at first glance.

I just guessed the answer, Sam. LOL!! I didn't hear you tell it, but for someone as sea-phobic as I am, I see sharks in any water!

I figured it was a bit too much for ya, but at least now you know from first hand experience what South Park is when it comes up in conversation.

Next time, I'm gonna make you watch "Ranma 1/2", which has multiple sex changes every episode. See, he's a guy except when he's a girl, which happens when he gets splashed with warm water...

Errr.... it's unusual but not as perverted as it sounds. At least, the first twelve episodes weren't.

I don't remember the old one, Sam. When was it demolished? I'd only ever gone through Penn Station once that I remember, and I don't really remember much about how it looked. In 1986 or 87, SSQ and I went on the commuter train from Matawan NJ, to NYC to see Southern Miss, our college team, play in the NIT finals in Madison Square Garden. We beat La Salle, and it was a lot of fun! I didn't know that Penn Station was under the Garden until someone at the kids' school told me. That's when we decided to go cause it would be an easy thing to do!

lol...driving is one thing...dating will bring a whole new set of worries.

Luckily, I've already passed down a 'Robinson Royal Proclamation' that Autumn will not be allowed to date until she's married. :-)
