Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

WOO HOO! Very good Trini! You may not be able to beat back bureaucracies, but you can sometimes outlast them!

Heh! Thanks folks. I'm talking to Ruthy on the phone, she's telling me, I told ya there was sharks in the water at Entmoot! (I just got done catching up and looking at the pics on the other page)
I am not sure how one goes about cooking a wild hog ham...

I suggest marinate it, sear it in a big pan and slow roast it in the oven covered.

The Hill Country in Cental Texas (Austin is on the eastern edge of it) has hills and enough trees to keep this northwoods-born bear content.
Not quite the right kind of trees, but plenty of 'em.

Mini-me Jaws...
Just as terrifying, albeit smaller terror.

Well, I'll keep it in mind. Not sure I'd fit in with the culture, though. I've known a lot of Texans, and liked them all, but I don't think I'm quite one of them. A bit too much Yankee in my blood.

Oh I believed that there were sharks.... I just thought they would be bigger, cooler ones!
That one was no different than the Sand Sharks (Dogfish) that we catch every time we drop a line in the water here!
I wanted a Mako.
To: RMDupree
Negative on the armadillo. That's a much more involved process.
*Dancing a jig* I can go home!!!!
To: HairOfTheDog
When you catch them, do you eat them?
To: JenB
Here's a pic I found that's a good illustration of the Hill Country:
What rubs you the wrong way about Texans?
