The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Towels were the worst to my recollection. Stepping out of the shower was a dreaded event, since I knew that I would have to dry off with a towel that felt like course sandpaper! *shudder*

How are your feet, 2J? Better, I hope!

The laundry in this house is ridiculous. It's mostly the kids though. Between Rebecca's 3 changes a day and Alyson's 3 changes a day...well, you get the picture!

Perhaps we should have everyone send you replacement footwear... can't guarantee it would be masculine or anything, though.

C'mon Corin! We all know it's too cold to be wearing sandals up there anyway. Socks and sneakers are better for warmth and for knee support. You need the extra sure-footedness that sneakers provide to avoid inflamming your knee further.

Yeah, yeah...that's the ticket!

I do good laundry when the weather is good...but when it's cold or damp...I can't bring myself to do it...

We never did touch that bottle of tequila! Shots all around, in memory of Corin's soccer slides!

I guess hard and scratchy towels exfoliate better!

Forever the optimist,

Texas? Do you have hills there?

I really want "mountains, Gandalf!" but I need bumps, at least...

Heh...need that tequila. That stupid Bakshi has ruined FOTR for me. Got to the balrog scene (in the PJ version) and I'm laughing at the winged lion wearing bunny slippers.

LOL!!!

He's a guy...tough, I guess!

I like to dry my clothes on a real windy day, though...they come off the line with nary a wrinkle and like they are starched!

I soak my feet in hot water and Aveeno body wash. It's delightful.

Butterfly-winged lion with bunny slippers!

Can't forget the style of the wings. It was such a classic touch!
