Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Optional, perhaps?
Here's a nice boonie to go with it...
I always wanted a boonie hat...but never had a good reason to buy one. Might look better than my sun bonnet when I'm fishing...

Well, I did manage to get my room and the desk cleaned up nicely. It started to pour buckets of rain before I got a chance to give Jessi her training, so that's on hold.
I did get one load done and another on the way as far as laundry goes. Yet, I look at the clock and feel like I really didn't get anything accomplished today. *sigh*
I want to sit on a sunny beach for another week or so before I have to deal with work again! This real-life stuff is for the birds! *laughing*

That's clothes dryer weather if I've ever heard it!
Cold and frozen stiff underpants are not my idea of comfort!

Clothing is optional, only the blaze orange is required!
I put the birds in the back pouch myself....

They dry amazingly well...it's the hanging them that's a pain! My fingers start aching in the cold!
It's going to be in the fifties in a couple of days...I'll wash then!

I wish it had gone close to freezing today... I don't think we got out of the twenties. Yuck!

I know! I pointed it out to Steve last night, what cold weather you guys are having.
It's supposed to freeze the next couple of nights or so...which means the chickens will require warm water first thing in the morning or they will complain loudly.

I dunno, 2J. I'm kind of used to the warm, fluffy clothing out of the dryer. Everytime I've ever hung clothes out to dry in the sun, they've been hard and stiff.
Maybe I should have used more fabric softener in the wash?

Cold, cold, cold. At least I think my bug bites are chilled into quiescence! They haven't itched since I went on errands today.

I line dried clothes in college for about a week, thinkin' I could save on quarters for the machine.... they were hard and stiff no matter how much softener I used... some things, like button-up cotton shirts and jeans, are fine that way, but towels.... nope... I can't stand a towel that stands up by itself...
To: RMDupree
I don't use softener...they are a bit stiffer than out of the dryer, but I don't mind it.
The dryer doesn't tear holes in our towels, for some reason...I dry all our towels, washclothes and dishclothes in the dryer. The rest either go on the line or get hauled down to the laundromat. We took 3 loads last night and took about 30 minutes to dry them all...We were home 45 minutes after we left!
The attendant complimented my boy's behavior...they got brownie points because of it.
I'm gonna soak my feet while I freep and enjoy a cup of chai.

I bet the dog can pee when you are wearin' sneakers.
To: HairOfTheDog
Using our pity for the furry friend. Yep, pretty much. But the thing is, with my now injured knee, it is painful to put my sneakers on...
But that's okay. Have your fun.
