I miss it - and everyone- too! The warmth, the lack of snow... watching anime with lots of folks.... the good food...

This afternoon I need to get ahead on my class assignments.... there's something due Thursday that I won't have time to do later in the week. So I can try doing it now and hope I'm doing it right since I haven't had class yet!

And I hope the money situation works out.

Hiya everyone! Just got my computer hooked up again... got home to find my Christmas gift from my brother-in-law waiting for me. Had to get my new motherboard and processor hooked up, and my drives put in, etc.

I miss you all already. ~sniff~

I miss it - and everyone- too! The warmth, the lack of snow... watching anime with lots of folks.... the good food...

The food was great! So was being able to walk outside without so much as putting shoes on. Now it's a major process again.

Need to get back to cleaning...

I fetched my car home - all the scratches are gone! And I picked up food for this week, I'm back on my diet, sigh.... and went to the bookstore to read a story. Now let's see about this homework...

Heh, that was great. She was incredibly cute, Rosie and I debated kidnapping her but couldn't agree on who got her.

Afternoon all. Quick update.

Scott - short version - working in attic, no complete floor, stepped where floor wasn't. Ouch.

osage - feeling okay. Main damage seems to be to the knee, or the back of my knee. Went to dr. this a.m. and he gave me drugs. Doesn't see any long term, series damage. Just moving slowly.

Glad most of the Mooters have made it home safely. Wish I could say the same for the shoes.

But, you know, for the record I DO wear them all the time. If'n they ain't coming home (and I'm kinda enjoying their journey), then I just need to know so I can pick up another pair.

I didn't see that card! She did make pictures for Margaret and Bill, though...and Margaret swiped the paper she made that had Gimli quotes on one side and The Eye on the other.

Ok...I got the treads for the stairs, and installed them with ease. They actually look pretty nice!

I priced out a handrail, and while it's well within budget ($40), I realized I'd have to stain and finish the oak rail itself...I was hoping that they'd have some already finished. While finishing the wood isn't daunting in the least, I remembered that it's only like 25 degrees outside, and dropping pretty quickly. There's frankly no way I'm standing outside to do this.

Needless to say, that will be a project for warmer weather.

So..I got to use a hammer, but alas, no power-drill today.

Unless I "break" something, just so I can fix it...lol

2004 could be the Journeys of Flat Footwear.
