The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Now! Here it is, all laid out and set down proper.
Hair and Co. is leaving Seattle at 11:20am Pacific Time...arriving in Denver at 2:26 MountainTime. Departs Denver at 4.06pm MountainTime and arrives in Orlando around 9pm Eastern Time.
OT is leaving KC at 12:25pm Central...arriving in Orlando at 3:42 Eastern Time
Rosie apparently makes a connection in GA at 1:16 Eastern Time and arrives in Orlando at 2:28 Eastern Time.
Jenb departs at 12:16pm Eastern Time from Pitt. and arrives in Orlando 2:12 Eastern Time.
Wneighbor leaves at 11:20am Central Time and arrives in Orlando at 2:17pm Eastern.

Yes, it is!
Hair's flight, for example, looks like it takes 9 hours... but actual flying time is only half of that. The rest is taken up by the 1.5 hour layover in Denver, and the 3 hours lost to the time zone change!

So is Rosie the only one that is probably flying right now? I don't have the flight number of her original flight.

So is Rosie the only one that is probably flying right now?Probably so... JenB and Wneighbor will probably be on their planes waiting to take off, and Overtaxed and Hair & Co will be at their respective airports, waiting to board!

It seems like there should be more people travelling... but then I remembered over half of those attending are driving, or taking the train.
Do we know when g'nad and Corin are supposed to arrive?

I feel like I'm working in a flight control tower! LOLMsdrby and I have an idea for a bunkbed like arrangement for Elf-boy. The top part as a bed, the lower as a desk, book shelf, "fort" area. The whole thing made up to look like a control tower. He already has a large RC plane(grandpa's) hanging in his room. Maybe some clouds painted on the already blue walls.

The game is set. The pieces are moving. The great party of our time has begun.

Except for the control tower concept, that sounds like some of the constructions I saw when I lived in a college dorm. Some of them were almost like a mini-room within the room!

Vicarious excitement is a good thing!
If there's to be another Entmoot, I've already committed to going. I feel awful for missing this one.
