Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Chamomile.

Good idea!
I also have some Tension Tamer - didn't even occur to me!
Maybe I could even sleep for awhile after chamomile...

Ah.... I found some stories to read I haven't read before.... nice Keith Laumer piece, lots of derring-do and aliens and stuff. That's better!
The "Wiggles" cd blaring away at my feet has got to go.

Sunrise about 07:00, sunset about quarter to six. Twilight is over fairly quick.
I misread my watch in a darkened room.
See everyone later.

Wow, that's nice... over an hour more light at both ends than we have. Wow.

Started the van....gonna go get gas (with heavy gloves on...it's brutal out there!) and then come back and try to sleep until two or so.
It'll be better than nothing. Then I can get up and take a shower and feel sort of awake by the time I need to go.

What kind of animal is that? It's so fuzzy I'm not sure I can tell!

You could still join us.... leave now, you'll be there in time for the movie Saturday...

If I can't sleep I'm going to read some mysteries. I have a good supply right now!

Sounds like a good plan to me Rosie. Though I don't envy you getting that gas. I gassed up yesterday and didn't like it a bit. It was in the 20's when I did mine. But, this ain't Vermont. BRRRR.

A friend completely covers his friends apartment with tin foil! Hm....you WA HHDs didn't have anything to do with this, did ya?
To: RosieCotton
I just wish my stories were in book form so I could get beneath the covers, but they're online at the publisher's website, so no such luck.

There's something very wrong when I can drive all the way home, plus a side trip for groceries, and the floor of the van under my feet is STILL covered in snow...when the heat was pointed in that direction.
I'm gonna let it warm up a good while. OK, so it means a little more gas, but it gets better milage when warmed up, so it's probably a trade-off.

That is my home town paper..... wish I had thought of it!
One time we went to a friend's house and took ~everything~ out of the house and arranged it the exact same way it was - but out in the yard.
